Cultural Emergency Response
Non-profit organization
Summer 2022 - Present
Cultural Emergency Response (CER) coordinates and supports locally-led protection of cultural heritage under threat. As a “cultural ambulance,” CER provides quick and flexible first aid support in immediate response to disaster or conflict situations. CER was established by the Prince Claus Fund in 2003; with 19 years of experience and a strong international network, CER continues as an independent organization. Presently, I work on a part-time basis at CER as a Communications Coordinator. As the sole communications representative on the team, I have strategically directed and grown CER's brand & communication channels since their inception.

Online Collectibles Cocktail Club
Online exhibition
Autumn & Winter 2020
I helped Subbacultcha with the conceptualization, organization, communication, mounting, and un-mounting of the Online Collectibles Cocktail Club (OCCC) exhibition. This was one of the main projects during my time with them as their Communication & Editorial intern. I ended up assisting with both OCCC 1 & 2. Huge thanks to Marieke, Sydney, Bella, and Robert for guiding, mentoring, and including me in this project. Read more about the exhibition below.

Fall 2020 - Present
I wanted to create an online space dedicated to conversations about art with a special focus on women, queer and/or POC artists. This blog is something I began to do when I noticed a gap between Gen Z and art knowledge. My focus on art minorities is crucial since who we focus on as a society, in a lot of ways, is decided by who we “put on the shelf” for display. Many art institutions have not mastered how to accurately and authentically depict living heritage and therefore, dictate different levels of “value” in terms of those who form part of their communities. My hope is to creatively direct the new generation of art lovers to more diverse exhibitions, museums, galleries, and artists.

Raíz Magazine
Print magazine
Spring 2016 - Fall 2019
Valentina Amaro and I founded Emerson College’s first Latinx and bilingual magazine my freshmen year of university. I was Co-Editor-in-Chief, Creative Director, and Head of Layout for four editions. Raíz Magazine grew from a team of 10 to a team of 50 in the span of three years and lives on past my graduation. This is a project I am immensely proud of and could not have done without my Co-Editor-in-Chief, Mariana Romero.
Face Value
Makeup, Art & Identity
Exhibition
Summer 2019
I helped Dorchester Art Project organize “Face Value”, an interdisciplinary show exploring the makeup we wear (or choose not to wear) as an expression of the self that reflects social, cultural, and political realities. My involvement included creating prevalent design work for the show, keeping up with social media, communicating with artists, as well as mounting and un-mounting the exhibition.
